Their Bengaluru-based firm Foodio fit was established in 2020 and provides a variety of Indian snacks, chocolates, drinks, specialty flours, and veggie chips with low carb, high protein, multigrain, and keto alternatives. The startup has dispatched more than one lakh orders to more than 5,000 clients in less than a year of business, with a 30% repeat customer rate. The firm, which has more than 50 distributors and is present in India, the US, Australia, and the UK, claims to have a 25% growth rate month-over-month and wants to spread to places like Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Dubai.

Gladful: Parul Sharma

Parul Sharma left the corporate grind after 15 years when she discovered that her 10-year-old son was protein-deficient and ended up in entrepreneurship because she couldn't locate food brands that her son enjoyed. She co-founded the protein-rich and healthful snack company Gladful in 2021 with her brother Manu Sharma. Their Jaipur-based firm, which focuses on kids, utilises wholewheat, cane sugar that hasn't been refined, avoids ammonia, and packs seven to eight grammes of protein per serving in its products. Gladful's goods have a gross margin of over 60% and can be found on smaller online stores like OneGreen and LBB, as well as Amazon, Cred, and Flipkart.

The direct-to-consumer (D2C) firm raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round in December of last year after receiving an initial investment of Rs 25 lakh. Investors in the round, which is being led by Antler India, also include Shiprocket through its programme RocketfuelXHuddle, Huddle Accelerator, and others.

During the lockdown, it had just 51 products in five categories; today, it has more than 400 products in ten categories, and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has recognised India Cuisine (DPIIT). It has so far served more than 2,000 clients after being bootstrapped with an initial investment of just Rs 21,000 and a total investment of Rs 10 Lakh.

Timios: Hima Bindu

Sibling duo AswaniChaitanya and Hima Bindu, realised that the health factor alone would not be sufficient to enter the children's market when they embarked on their business path with the Timios line of nutritious snacks for kids. Since they were also parents, they paid similar attention to flavour to ensure that kids would like it without parental prodding. A variety of options are now available, including micro oaty nibbles, teething sticks, nutty bars, berry bars, and other nutritious snacks for breastfeeding and expectant moms, under the duo's Bengaluru-based business Timios. They are offered on its website and on various e-commerce sites, such as Bigbasket, Blinkit, Amazon, and Flipkart, for a price ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 320.

It has a retail presence in over 500 outlets throughout India and ships to the US, the UK, Singapore, Taiwan, and China in addition to fulfilling an average of 4000 orders each month.
