The Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) is all set to start today, March 4. The fans of this mega tournament have made their way to witness the first-ever women's premier league looking for their favorite teams and cricket players to play in full action. The planning and process of inaugurating this mega event is going around for several months and finally, it is happening today. There is a total of five franchises that will compete against each other for 22 days.

The spectators will witness some of the greatest female batters and bowlers who will perform on the fields. As the players for the Tata WPL belong to both India and overseas. Here is a list of five top bowlers you need to look out for during the tournament.

Deepti Sharma (UP Warriorz)

Deepti Bhagwan Sharma is one of the most renowned all-rounder players of the Indian Women's Cricket Team. They have proven herself on many platforms in cricket tournament throughout her international career.  She has been recently purchased for a sum of Rs. 2.6 crores by UP Warriorz which is the second-highest amount paid for any female cricketer during the auction. She will serve as the deputy to the captain of UP Warriorz Alyssa Healy. She is also ranked fourth in the top all-rounders by the ICC Cricket Rankings.

Pooja Vastrakar (Mumbai Indians)

Pooja Vastrakar is a female cricketer player who presently competes for both India and Madhya Pradesh. She is an all-rounder player who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium fast. Pooja is just 22 years when she will play her first WPL tournament in Mumbai Indians under skipper Harmanpreet Kaur's captaincy. She made her international debut in the year 2018. Pooja is considered as 'Chota Hardik' on the field for her brilliant performance. The way she delivers each ball to her opponent makes her game similar to Hardik Pandya’s gameplay.

Prashavi Chopra (UP Warriorz)

Prashavi Chopra is an Indian-origin female cricketer who belongs to Madhya Pradesh, India. She is a bowling all-rounder for the Indian Women's Under-19 team. She was bought by the franchise, UP Warriorz during the auction for an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs.

Radha Yadav (Delhi Capitals)

Radha Parkash Yadav is an Indian female cricketer who is sold to the Delhi Capitals franchise for Rs. 40 lakhs. She is a phenomenal bowler with great skills. It would be great watching her play on the field and take wickets of the opposition team members for the spectators.

Renuka Singh (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Renuka Singh is one of the 10 Indian female cricketers who was sold to a franchise for more than a crore. She was sold for a sum of Rs. 1.5 crore to the leading franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the auction. She will be playing for the team at the inaugural tournament of the Women's Premier League 2023. Renuka is a leading wicket-taker in many tournaments she played for.
