Top 10 Corporate Women Leaders from Haryana - 2022

Haryana is an Indian state located in the Northern part of the country which is rich in history, monuments, heritage, flaura & fauna and tourism. The state is ranked 21st in terms area, constituting less than 1.4 percent of India’s land area. Faridabad is the most populous city and is a part of National Capital Region. Another biggest city in the state is Gurgaon which is one among India’s largest financial and technological hub. It is one of the major information technology and automobile hubs of India. The state of Haryana ranks 11th among Indian states in Human Development Index and Haryana economy is 13th largest in India.

The women in Haryana have made nation pride through their considerable achievements in the past few years, especially in the field of sports and politics. The government is also pushing the women empowerment in the state through various schemes and awards. One such award recently declared is ‘Sushma Swaraj award’ for women for their achievements in different walks of life. The state award instituted after the ‘daughter of Haryana’ and former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will carry a commendation and five lakh award money. The state has also launched Matrishakti Udyamita Scheme to provide financial support to women entrepreneurs.

With all these schemes the state have succeeded in creating strong women leaders and have helped many women come out of their veils of customs and believes and be valuable contributors to the state economy.
