Gvriksh Commences Womennovator Global Summit 2021 to Recognize Women Entrepreneurs

Gvriksh, a NPO (Non-Profit Organisation) initiated Womennovator Global Summit 2021 and 1000 Women Asia Award virtually on Monday.

The week-long summit is coordinated with the incentives from the Development Commissioner under the Ministry of Micro, Government of India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Small and Medium Enterprises, AGNI, Consulate General of India, Department of Science and Technology and Invest India.

The objective of an annual summit is to encourage, acknowledge and recognise new and upcoming women entrepreneurs, leaders and influencers.

The summit coordinates celebrities, industrialists, senior government officials and entrepreneurs such as scientist and industrialists Swati Piramal, actor-director Nandita Das, banker Naina Lal Kidwai and others.

The founder of Womennovator, Tripti Shinghal Somani said, “The objective of establishing Womennovator is not just to empower the empowered but to go to Tier II and III cities, districts and villages to create opportunities for women by connecting them to our leaders and mentors at Womennovator”.

It focuses on providing opportunities to connect with top industrial investors and leaders, product sampling and training in branding and digital marketing. It already incubated 130 women entrepreneurs virtually through 10 week programme.

The summit states to acknowledge more than 1,0000 awardees includes businesswomen and businessmen who have supported them from across many counties like the Middle East, Australia, Africa, Bangladesh, US and Uganda.

 They operate 90 sectors such as hospitality, environment, clean energy, sustainable fashion, education, literature, healthcare, technology, social work and jewellery.

Womennovator focuses on expansion of business and trading opportunities globally to train and encourage women. The platform targets to have 1,000 businesswomen to raise equity and debt funding around INR 50 crore.
