Transforming Work Culture for Better Future

Hiring is nothing like the usual any more. Though it has partnered with technology earlier, since pandemic hit us, it has actually married it. Now they are one, whether its screening resumes or interviewing candidates, onboarding them or training them or even looking after their learning and growth in the organization. The intervention of technology is more than what we could have ever thought of. The role of HR has become critical with time; they have found a place in the board table and are important decision makers in the success of the organization.

But since decades, HR is overwhelmingly female. There are tons of data to support this fact. It is indeed their inborn quality that makes them the master of the HR domain. Empathy, passion, patience, and atop their careful attitude towards every individual makes them a perfect fit for the industry. It is important to note that several women HRs have brought incremental change in the HR policies. One instance is Arundhati Bhattacharya, the first female Chairman of SBI introduced policies regarding employee treatment during maternity, which tremendously increased women participation during and after pregnancy.
